Dr. Alonzo explained cataract surgery in great detail, and the procedure was painless. He was friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Coming into have a life changing appointment for most patients coming to this medical center is scary, having to do it without a family member was terrifying, due to Covid-19 only patients are allowed past the front door,I wish I was told that to prepare myself. I’ve been a patient since 2010 and love the staff and doctors, love the ultrasound technician she’s been there longer than I’ve been a patient, it’s nice coming back to a scary situation to a familiar face, she’s wonderful she’s gentle, kind, her voice and patient care is tender, that helped With not having someone with you. I was there to meet and have my first appointment with my new doctor as my amazing doctor had retired unfortunately which made this appointment even more scary for me, new doctor, new staff, same issue but new developments and new diagnosis, new ideas, my original doctor made me part of the team, he always gave me every option left it up to me, I trust him completely, going blind at 23 was terrifying, trusting your doctor and his team knowing they’d do everything they could to help you took that terrifying situation to okay we got this, it’s going to be okay. So as you can see this appointment to me was huge, terrifying, all those old emotions and experienced surgeries and treatments were on my mind, let alone what was going on now existing. Sitting in that waiting room was terrifying, on the verge of tears when this adorable blonde nurse calls my name, she was kind, chatty, great personality, she got me talking and all that terror started to fade, loved her, Dr Alonzo came in with his assistant and they were very diligent and on their game, I was so happy that he read my file and had an idea of who I was and what I’ve been threw so far. He gave me options and allowed me to choose what I wanted to go with, he was pleasant, not afraid to get in there and find the problem, it was a a great first appointment, and I’m excited for the future possibilities in medical break throughs and pleased with the treatment plan till one day maybe that medical breakthrough happens for me. Best part Dr Alonzo has no plans to retire anytime soon, and he’s very intelligent so if that medical breakthrough happens I’m in an incredible doctors hands till then I know he’s got my back and will do everything he can for me. A patient has to have optimism and hope and faith when they have medical life changing events happen in Their lives, lucky for me since day one I’ve had great doctors and their teams to make that easier for me, so thank you RMEC.

All employees that I interacted with were friendly, professional and efficient. Processes were streamlined and my impression of Rocky Mountain was most favorable! Dr. McCann explained information thoroughly and clearly. I would definitely recommend this care facility to friends and family.
