It's incredibly frustrating to be told to show up 15 minutes early for your appointment, only to have a five-minute eye exam, then sit for over an hour in the waiting room, to be moved to an exam room to sit for 10 minutes. Then spend less than five minutes being examined by the doctor. Not to mention having someone get to go ahead of you because they complained about the wait. People do have jobs and these doctors should respect our time the way we are asked to respect theirs.

I am so very pleased to have had Dr. Nedrud as my ophthalmologist for my cataract surgery. His professionalism, skill, and concern for my well being were evident from the first consultation appointment all the way through both of my surgeries. It's rare to use the phrases, "pleasant experience" and "medical surgery" in the same sentence but there is no other way to describe my experience. My new Panoptix tri-focal lenses are nothing short of life changing. I wish to extend my profound thanks to Dr. Nedrud and the entire surgery team for a job very well done!

The staff at Rocky mountain Eye are all top notch! Dr. Kotowski is an expert in his field. I was planning on a long day but even with all the tests I had to have done I was pleasantly surprised to be done in about an hour.

When I was still working and had decent insurance, Dr. Rioux was great. She took the time to be very thorough and was very nice. Fast forward 10 years and I am now on SSDI, I felt like she was rushing me through the appointment and not addressing my issues. The first time she did this was a few years ago but I chalked it up to maybe she was having a bad day. It had been 3 years since I had been back and there has been a significant change in my eyes and knew I needed to have them checked. She treated me like a 2nd class citizen because I felt of me being on SSDI now. I myself worked in healthcare for 22 years and had seen facilities treat private pay & private insurance patients treated totally different than patients on disability and Medicaid. I chose this eye clinic because when I was still working, I would take some of my patients to their eye appts and they were always treated awesome. There's still something wrong with my eyes and she says there's not. I felt like she thought I was just trying to milk the system for whatever I could get which is absolutely not true. My total years in the workforce was 34 years until an injury and hence being on SSDI now. This last appt did not go well and I will not be back.
