Benjamin Malmanger, OD, is an optometrist on the team at Rocky Mountain Eye Center. He sees patients at the Hamilton office, where he provides comprehensive eye care along with managing ocular diseases including glaucoma, dry eye, and more.
Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Malmanger completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Arizona College of Optometry as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. During his training, Dr. Malmanger gained experience in cataract and refractive surgery co-management at the Petelin Vision ophthalmology clinic, provided care through the Indian Health Services, and served our nation’s veterans at the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Hospital. He has also volunteered at eye care clinics in Phoenix, Tucson, and Mexico for underserved patients.
Dr. Malmanger comes to Montana with his wife, Alexis. When he's not in clinic he enjoys backpacking, fishing, hunting, golfing, and skiing.
