Why shop for your glasses at a “big box” store when you can get expert advice from our highly experienced opticians at the Rocky Mountain Optical Center?
We offer Montana-made lenses and have one of the largest collections of eyewear in Montana, from Silhouette, Luxottica, Marchon, Tura and other famous designers.
Did you know ordinary lenses reflect some light away from your eyes, forcing them to work harder resulting in eyestrain and fatigue. However, with anti-reflective lenses as much as 99% of light enters your eyes so you will see more clearly and with less fatigue. We offer this option, including ultra-lightweight lenses, anti-scratch protection and high-index lenses. We will also help you select the frames that are most flattering for your facial structure.
At first glance regular clear lenses and Transitions® lenses may look alike – after all, they are both perfectly clear indoors, but expose them both to UV rays or sunlight and you will see how one lens provides superior comfort, convenience and protection. (Transitions is a registered trademark of Transitions Optical, Inc)
Our professional and highly trained staff can show you, which lens is best for everyday use.

Extended Wear Lenses
Also known as “continuous wear” lenses. Created of soft plastics that allow flow of oxygen to the cornea. They can be worn night and day for an extended period of time, to be determined by your doctor.
Gas Permeable Lenses
Also known as “RGPs.” They are made of plastics combined with other materials, which allow oxygen to pass directly through the lens, making them more comfortable than traditional hard lenses.
Correct moderate astigmatism. They are available in both rigid and soft materials. Toric lenses have two powers: one to correct astigmatism, the other to correct for either myopia (nearsightedness) or hyperopia (farsightedness).
We stock a large selection of contact lens solutions, including hard-to-find brands, at reasonable prices. Choose from Ciba Vision, Bausch & Lomb, Alcon and other name brand solutions.
