Dr. Kotowski completed a two-year Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he also was a clinical instructor of ophthalmology. Prior to his residency training at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA he completed a research fellowship in ophthalmic imaging, also at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his MD from the University of Lublin, Poland. Dr. Kotowski’s extensive research experience includes work on world’s first artificial retina microchip at Optobionics Corp., where he served as company’s medical director.
Dr. Kotowski specializes in medical and surgical management of the diseases of the retina. He is currently accepting new patients.
